Courage is the Willingness to Love.

The truth of who you are lives within you, and you always have access to it. You are never apart from it.

You came into existence as an idea in the mind of God, and ideas never leave their source. You have the ability to tap the infinite love, wisdom, strength, sight, and thoughts of your source at any given moment. You only have to be willing to.

We all want to feel loved and give love. That is what we are here to do - to give and receive love from one another; however, it can be confusing when the love we are feeling, and giving is experienced through the lens of the past.

Mindful awareness of not allowing past misunderstandings, hurtful words, angry reactions, regretful betrayals, etc., is the work. The work of self-actuating; of becoming enlightened. It is a mindful practice of slowing your thoughts so you may see, hear, and know where to go, what to do, what to say and to whom.

We are all ideas of God - his shiny lights of love.

Your willingness to shine that love will imbue whatever situation you are experiencing with God’s light, thereby giving you; and everyone involved, a chance to come to know a peaceful, loving solution.

The Practice

One of my favorite sets of lessons from A Course In Miracles are reviewed in lesson fifty-nine.

As I practice being mindful, I often hear one or all of the following lessons as thoughts in my mind.

When I’m alone; I repeat them, in order, three times.

Doing so calms me and fills me with a peaceful sense of feeling grounded and loved. It also drops me into a meditative state where I can hear God. 😇

Perhaps you will find these lessons as loving and peaceful as I do.

ACIM Workbook Lesson 59 Reviews:

“God goes with me wherever I go.”

“God is my strength. Vision is his gift”

“God is my Source. I cannot see apart from Him.”

“God is the light in which I see.”

“God is the Mind with which I think.”
